Student Assessments

The Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Improvement Act of 2006 (Perkins IV) requires Documentation of Competency (Student attainment of an industry-recognized credential).

ESCO Institute administers three assessment programs, two for secondary programs and one for post secondary. The exams are based, in part, on the “National Skills Standards”. The comparative analysis reports, aids in fulfilling the performance indicators for "No Child Left Behind" & “Carl D Perkins Act” Federal legislation.

Secondary Assessments

H.E.A.T - verifies high school (secondary) students have core knowledge of HVAC systems.

H.E.A.T. Plus - Total end of program assessment including; technical competencies and soft skills, in addition to an performance component.

Post Secondary Assessments

Employment Ready Certifications - verifies students possess the knowledge to enter the workforce.
